CONVERT MODULES.

Bits and bytes are not interchangeable.

Data-rate conversion is simple only after the unit is identified correctly. Eight bits make one byte, so 800 Mbps has a theoretical ceiling of 100 MB/s before overhead and other bottlenecks. Decimal network prefixes and application display conventions can also create apparent differences.

Converters on 0bps show mathematical equivalence; they do not claim that a connection will sustain the converted rate during a real transfer.
