INFO0BPS / MODULE

TERMS OF USE

Basic terms for normal use of the 0bps network and bitrate tools.

INFORMATIONAL TOOLS

0bps provides browser-based network measurements, calculators, converters, reference material and local media-analysis utilities for informational and troubleshooting purposes. Results are not a service-level guarantee, certification, professional engineering opinion or promise that every destination will behave the same way.

MEASUREMENT LIMITS

Network results can vary with routing, Wi-Fi conditions, device performance, browser behavior, VPN use, congestion and the remote measurement path. Calculators use the assumptions shown in their interfaces. You are responsible for interpreting results in the context of your own network and service.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use 0bps to create abusive traffic, evade access controls, overload services, probe systems without authorization or interfere with the availability of the site or third-party infrastructure. Automated scraping or repeated requests that materially impair service may be rate-limited or blocked.

LOCAL FILES AND USER INPUT

Some tools process values or supported media metadata locally in the browser. Do not enter secrets, credentials, private keys or sensitive personal information into public URL fields or shareable calculator states. See the Privacy Policy for details about browser-local storage, query strings and optional third-party services.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

0bps may rely on measurement infrastructure or link to external technical references. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. External references are provided for context and do not transfer editorial responsibility for 0bps explanations to the referenced organization.

ADVERTISING

Advertising may help fund operation of the site. Advertising placement does not determine technical conclusions, formulas, tool outputs or editorial wording. Availability of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser, product or service.

CHANGES

Tools, documentation and these terms may be updated as the project evolves. Material technical behavior is documented in the Methodology and Editorial Standards pages.
