Is the displayed IP stored by 0bps?
The Connection Info module displays the request IP for the current response but does not intentionally write that IP or the browser network hints to the built-in application counters.
Why can the IP or connection type look different?
VPNs, proxies, mobile networks, carrier NAT, CDN routing and browser support can change which address or network hints are visible to a web page.
Effective type, RTT and downlink are browser hints when supported. They are not a replacement for an active speed test.
